CHANGES IN GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
GENERAL: The Contractor is requested to promptly submit the amount to be added or deducted from the contract price due to the items omitted and/or added herein. This is not an order to proceed with changes.
The General Conditions, Special Conditions, and Specifications, Previous Bulletins,Addendas shall govern for all work herein described, unless otherwise noted.
The following drawings, dated October 14, 1955, are issued with and become a part of this Bulletin:

Changes to Specifications
1. Section B - Ornamental Metal
a. Division 8-02. Change Item G to the following:
'G. Aluminum shall be an approved architectural alloy and have either an approved anodized or white porcelain finish on all exposed surfaces.'
b. Division 8-06. All aluminum items listed in the schedule and elsewhere shall have an approved anodized finish except those listed below. This supersedes any previous directions in Specification, Bulletins, or Addenda.
1. Item O. Dining table ring. Aluminum shall have a baked enamel finish (five coats) - color to be selected.
2. Table Legs - Room 22. Substitute steel for aluminum and provide baked enamel finish (five coats) - color to be selected.

3. Certain items of hardware shall be porcelanized. To be clarified on hardware schedule.
2. Section P - Plumbing
a. Division P-57. Substitute Elkay #4021 for the sink specified. Fitting shall be as specified with the exception of the #2024 Duo Strainer. Substitute in its place two separate outlet fittings, the left fitting adapted to the disposal as per P-59.
b.Division P-49 and P-50. Omit aerator spout as specified.
3. Section M - Heating, Ventilating and Refrigeration
a. M-33. Substitute a Jenn-Air Model 141CR exhauster for the Model 90 CR specified. It shall conform to the original specification as regards disconnect switches, two-speed motor, mounting, etc.
Changes to Drawings
1. Sheet A-3
Depth of mat recesses at doors 01 and o6 should be noted as 1-3/4'.
2. Sheet A-8
Details 108 and 109. The panel noted as micarta shall be changed to a 3/4' thick panel with a honeycomb paper core. The exposed face shall be bright aluminum. The panel shall be as manufactured by the Wolverine Porcelain Enameling Company, Detroit, Michigan, The U. 5, Plywood Corporation, or an approved equal. Anchor as noted on detail.
3. Sheet A-13
Substitute in unit #10 - upper enclosure, record shelving for the glass shelves (1/2 pol.pl.gl.) specified in Bulletin No. 1. Record shelving shall be 3/4' painted plywood with vertical dividers at 6' O.C. Details shall be similar to those shown on sheet R-4, this Bulletin.
4. Sheet M-2
Kitchen exhaust fan shall be changed to Model 141 CR as previously noted. The General Contractor shall substitute a steel channel curb with a 24 x 24 opening for the curb noted on the drawing,
