Invoice from Office Pavilion dated 03/27/91 for an order of chairs in the amount of $1,012.00]

[typed note from Sheila Behrman to Owen D. Hungerford, with handwritten annotations]
September 11, 1990
ODH:
You asked yesterday that I see about getting the first chair shells back--the ones with the wrong color piping.
I talked with Mark Weiler at Office Pavilion. He wasn't sure where these chairs are--thinks they were returned to Herman Miller. He will check into it.
BUT he did say he was trying to get the second set repaired and give to us--if it is possible to repair them.

PDW:
Here is what I think has happened with these chairs as best I can reconstruct from the file:
2/24/89 - 4 Herman Miller arm chair shells ordered @$298 from Indianapolis Office Supply - $1,242.00tax 59.60 - 1,301.60
7/6/89 - Chair shells were delivered to 301 & Stan delivered to 2760
7/7/89 - Stan picked up chairs at 2760-- (trim unsatisfactory to XSM )
7/25/89 - Stan returned chairs to Indianapolis Office Supply--they will try to get trim changed with Herman Miller
Fall 89 - Chairs returned to Indianapolis Office Supply 'lost' -- cannot locate
3/90 - Four chairs with wrong trim are found at Office Pavilion/Indianapolis. Decided by ODH and Judy Dykstra/Herman Miller that XSM should have new shells not ones delivered 7/6 repaired
3/2/90 - Ordered 4 new shells from Office Pavilion.
8/6/90 - Four new chair shells arrived. 'Seams in seat of chairs pulled out. Rejected chairs. Return for credit.' -ODH
8/16/90 - Office Pavilion picked up chairs from Stan's office.
Late August - The Shambles sent someone to pick up chairs-- they were asked by Office Pavilion to pick up. BV phoned Office Pavilion--they have chairs.
