MEMORANDUM
Date: May 2, 1983
To: X. S. Miller
From: O. D. Hungerford
Subject: 2760 Ovens
Lotus Alexander, local Thermador oven dealer, says one of the pair of ovens at 2760 is broken beyond repair. Specifically, the broiler and the self-cleaning element cannot be repaired.
These ovens are approximately 18 years old and parts for ovens made this long ago are not available. To try to repair this oven would cost more than the cost of a new oven.
A replacement oven is available that would look precisely like the present microwave except that the bottom line is 1' longer. It would fit into the same space where the present oven is now requiring no carpentry work. This means that if we were to replace one of the pair we would have two ovens which look like the present microwave and one of the pair remaining. If we were to replace both of the pair of ovens we would have three ovens that look like the microwave.
Please indicate your preference:
___ Repair present ovens. (The good oven of the pair has a broken door which can be repaired.)
___ Order one oven to match present mirowave at a cost of $995 and repair door of second oven.
___ Buy two ovens at a cost of approximately $2,000.
