MEMORANDUM
Date: May 14, 1999
To: Xenia S. Miller, Irwin Miller
From: Beverly V. McDermott
Subject: New Thermador Warming Drawer
I am pleased to tell you that we can get a new stainless steel Thermador warming drawer in the same space as the old drawer. The new drawer is 1' wider, 1' shorter, and 1/2' deeper than the old drawer. Therefore, the capacity of the new drawer is almost exactly the same as the old drawer. This means we do NOT have to reconfigure the kitchen cabinets/drawers.
I met with CSE at 2760 this morning to review the measurements to confirm with him what we need to do to install a new Thermador warming drawer. The trim on the old drawer is much wider than the new drawer. Therefore, we will have to make a 5' stainless steel panel to insert at the bottom of the new drawer to 'fill the gap' that will be created when the old oven is taken out.
Cost of a new warming drawer with stainless steel front will be:
- 24' Thermador stainless steel warming drawer $691.00
- Installation 75.00
- Sales tax 34.55
Total $800.55
The warming drawer has an on/off switch just inside the drawer and a temperature dial that can be set anywhere from 140°F-210°F. There is a red light on the front of the drawer to indicate that the drawer is turned on.
Bob Clark in Indianapolis can install the oven within 5-7 days of receiving the order. Attached is a faxed picture of the warming drawer-it is not very clear. I will receive a better picture of the drawer on Monday.
Please indicate below if you would like me to order a new Thermador warming drawer:
