Vandalism at 2760 Highland Way
On May 29 and June 6, vandals broke into Irwin Miller's storage barn and dumped furniture and other items into the swimming pool.
On June 6, a large pottery planter bowl was broken when it was dumped into the pool, two 18' high stone poodles were broken when thrown into the pool, and pool furniture was damaged when thrown into the pool. (Only very minor furniture damage occurred on May 29.)
The planter from California was about 1 3/4' thick, about 36' across and about 18' high. It was filled with flowers and dirt. Value is estimated at $75.00
The stone dogs were estimated at about $40.00 ($20.00 each). The damage to the pool furniture was small, loss is difficult to determine.
Is there any coverage for this loss?

Vandalism at 2760
Unless I hear to the contrary by June 11, we shall hire one unarmed, off-duty local policeman to watch for vandals Thursday through Sunday nights 12 midnight to 5 a.m., at $3.00 per hour. We think three weeks will be enough to solve problem.
Purpose is to stop vandalism quietly and safely. Watchman must be mature and sensitive to concern that problem must be solved without publicity.
We will not hire an off-duty policeman unless he has these sensitivities and can assure us that what he does for us will be confidential.
