CopyrightThe "Souper" paper dress was developed by the Campbell Soup Company for an advertising campaign. The Andy Warhol-inspired design was not only a publicity coup, but it was also a great example of the integration of fashion and Pop art.
Customers could buy the dress by filling out the order form and enclosing $1 plus labels from two different kinds of Campbell's vegetable soups.
