Collection of Bennet H. Young [1843-1919] {1}, Louisville, Kentucky; Earl C. Townsend [1914-2007], Indianapolis, Indiana; given to the John Herron Art Institute, now the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, in 1961. {1} Bennett Henderson Young was an officer with the Confederate 8th Cavalry during the St. Albans Raid, He became a prominate lawyer and philanthropist.
