Maker's mark of Daniel Smith and Robert Sharp; [Lion passant] [Mark of 92.5 sterling standard] Mark: [Leopard's head crown for city of London] Inscribed: U Mark, on foot and cover: [date letter for 1775-1776] Incised engraving, at underside: Pickett & Rundell, Fecit Engraved around lip: "The Right Honorable The Earl of Lincoln & Sir Charles Sedley Bart Stewards" Engraved around lip: "Nottingham Races 1776"
