Elizabeth Fachmann, Louisville, KY.{1} Miss Edith Fachman;{2} given to the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 1973. {1} Elizabeth Fachmann moved from Louisville, KY, to Indianapolis, IN, sometime between 1886, when the quilt was made, and 1900, according to Louisville city directories and US census records. {2} Edith Fachmann is the daughter of the quilt maker, Elizabeth Fachmann.
