Galleries, New York, New York);{1} Clowes Fund Collection, Indianapolis, Indiana, and on long-term loan to the Indianapolis Museum of Art since 1971 (C10088); given to the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 2017. {1} Another textile was purchased from the V.B. Galleries by George Henry Alexander Clowes, Hendrick Mattens’ Miraculous Draft of Fishes, 2016.372. This gallery can now be identified as “The Galleries of Paul S. Van Baarn, Ltd.” specializing in antique tapestries, paintings, furniture and works of Art; see “Front Matter,” Burlington Magazine (March 1938): vi.
