Miss Callie McMecken, Clinton, Indiana; {1} Mrs. Robert Stwalley; Mr. Robert Stwalley in care of Mr. Olen R. Gowens, Lagoda, Indiana; given to the Indianapolis Museum of Art in 1990. {1} McMecken was the secretary of Governor James Whitcomb of Clinton, Indiana. She wore this gown to a governor's ball, possibly Whitcomb's inaugural ball.
